Got the absolutely addictive band, Fever Dreamer, and the talented beyond his years photographer, Kevin Chung, down for a shoot styled and art directed by me on May 14 in Deep Ellum, Dallas.
After meticulous coordination (there are 5 dudes in this band) and hardcore negotiation (Kevin’s got an asking price), I’m feelin’ quite accomplished.
This shoot almost didn’t happen thanks to some flake-out’s, but if I say I’m going to do something, I’m going to do it.
No way was I letting that band down.
Now, as for my sanity, that is another issue. Yet I feel like I always do better when I’m crunched for time, and at this point in my life, passing on this opportunity in order to ace a completely inconsequential exam would be absolutely ludicrous.
Band, fashion, music, and styling. Thank god we’re too broke to add food to that list or else I would combust from overexcitement.

Please consider using smaller bags? Or at least advertise ways to recycle the bags on the bags.
Get creative with it, make it funny.
Or use recycled paper.
Something needs to change there.
It’s as wasteful as the potato chip industry’s insistence on filling their foil bags half full of air, and sometimes closer to 3/4’s.
And the beauty industry’s insistence upon encasing minuscule amounts of potion in excessively large containers.
Perfume, facial creams, nail polish- all of them could stand to use less material.
I’m all for beautiful packaging, but I’m also all for a long-lasting earth.
Bottled water, actually, now that I think about it, is one of the worst offenders of the decadent use of materials.
FIJI and SmartWater have some of the thickest bottles on the market.
‘Sup with that?
Use less now, have more later :)
