my favorite color for about the past 3 years, if not longer, has been “hermes orange” (and veuve cliquet orange, that one too) not because of luxury, but because of the incredible perfection of the hue.

i loved it because it is the most INVINCIBLE accent color. i proclaimed to anyone who would listen that it not only went with everything but also made everything look better and smarter, yet everyone always wrote my then beloved orange off.

now everyone’s scrambling to get their hands on any shred of orange-tinted material, eagerly swathing pieces of it around their necks, wrists, waists just to be a part of the trend.

i hate trends so damn much because they ruin what i’ve already been doing.

feathers.

-ruined.

skulls.

-still love them shamelessly but definitely can’t claim them as my signature anymore (McQ), and they’re worn by people who seem as though they don’t know the skeletal component they’re sporting is actually inspired by the one that is supposedly in their heads.

BLUE HAIR DYE?!

-wanted to do that shit ages ago, agesbut decided my clothes are already ridiculous enough. now every bitch and her mom has tips dip-dyed blue.

unrighteously infuriated,

jess
